He is currently a boardmember of the Icelandic Telecom company, was a chairman of the Board of Iceland Industries Loan Fund, was a member of the board of FBA Investment bank, now part of Islandsbanki ltd. Icelands biggest commercial bank. He is and has been very active in many areas of sport and music, and has been a member of board of Valur FC, one of Iceland´s footballclubs, to name but a few.
