EiG setting for launch of Parspro live betting with tournaments solution
Fresh source of revenue opens up for operators as groundbreaking Juliet solution combines live betting with multi-player gaming, to create first system of its kind
Live betting with tournaments becomes a reality at this year‘s EiG Expo in Copenhagen, with the launch of Juliet, a groundbreaking new solution from Parspro which sees the company become the first developer to successfully merge live betting with multi-player gaming.
Viewed by the industry as a potentially lucrative source of revenue, a solution combining these two core trends in sports betting has never before been available to on-line bookmakers.
Built on the Parspro Miranda sports betting platform, Juliet harnesses the concept of a live betting tournament network, to allow players from different customers to particiapte in the same tournament, thereby greatly increasing the rake size, prizes and the number of players available to play.
Simple to implement, reliable and secure, features include an application which supports both multiple customers and shared tournaments, along with a network element that means that all system components use a tuple (customer, player, password) to identify messages and data objects.
Standard live betting is also fully supported, and both the system and network are stand-alone. Juliet also includes an innovative new player application based on current industry standards, as well as a series of back-office applications designed to give bookmakers and designated administrators full control over all aspects of the system.
“Juliet is the product of several years’ extensive research and development, much of which was conducted in close consultation with our customers,” says Parspro founder and CEO Sigurdur Baldursson.
“By combining the core elements of live betting and multi-player gaming into a single unique solution, we aim to provide on-line bookmakers with a fresh source of revenue at a time of increased competition and customer demand for fresh and attractive product offerings.”
Joining Juliet at this year‘s exhbition is a range of other innovative Parspro products, among them Cordelia, a horse and greyhound betting solution providing full support for pari-mutuel betting.
Based like Juliet on Parspro Miranda architecture and specifically designed for high-volume sites, Cordelia has already been adopted as the solution of choice by a number of leading on-line operators.
Races can be entered manually, and multiple feed connectors readily developed. A series of back-office applications provides bookmakers with full control over the races published, how they are seeded, and how they are settled.
Taken together, this innovative range of services and feeds allows Parspro customers to build a fully customised application on top of Cordelia, incorporating full risk management, as well as agent and affiliate support.
Completing the featured line-up at this year‘s show is ppTOTO, the highly flexible management application at the heart of the Parspro Betting Server.
Providing operators with remote control of their sites from any location, while enabling Parspro to readily add new features as they come on-stream, ppTOTO combines full system, games, sales and user administration with an extensive range of fully automatic risk management tools and features.
